Job Description
Divine Package (DIVP) is an Amazon Delivery Service Partner looking for highly organized candidates for the position of Dispatch Shift Assistant (DSA). DSAs are responsible for ensuring that our Delivery Associates (DAs) are motivated, safe, and operate efficiently to get every Amazon order to the customer’s door on-time.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure on-time deliveries and minimize packages being returned to the station.
- Solve on-road issues, including emergencies.
- Maintain detailed records and communication with supervisor.
- Analyze data to increase business operational efficiency.
- Coordinate assists for drivers. Rescue drivers whose routes are at risk as needed.
- Help load and unload vans as needed.
- Communicate with drivers via phone call, text, chat, and email.
- Greet drivers upon return and assist with questions they may have.
- Inventory and monitor vans for safe operations and damage.
- Inspect driver pouches for completeness and charge phones.
- Report loss or damage to pouch contents and company properties promptly to supervisor.
Experience:
- Must be 21+ and have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record (CDL not required).
- Pass a driving record check and consent to a drug test.
- Experience as Amazon Delivery Associate, a plus.
- Experience in customer service.
- Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Must be able to use handheld and computer technology.
- Must be good with geography.
- Must be a team player.
- Must be willing to work mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
